Dr. Ayşe Gizem Kertmen graduated from Yeditepe University in 2022. Since graduation, she has been pursuing her PhD in pediatric dentistry, a field she is passionate about. She is currently continuing her academic work at Istanbul Kent University, where she is in the thesis phase of her PhD program.
She has been working as a pediatric dentist in many clinics since 2022 and joined our team in 2024.
Approaching pediatric patients with great care and age-appropriate techniques, Dr. Gizem performs preventive and protective procedures, restorative treatments, primary tooth root canal treatments, root canal treatments on teeth with open apices, primary tooth extractions, and space maintainer applications. When necessary, she performs dental treatments under general anesthesia in fully equipped hospital conditions.
Our dentist, who closely follows current developments in pediatric dentistry, is also a member of the Turkish Pedodontics Association, EAPD (European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry), the Pediatric Dentists Association, and the Istanbul Dental Association.
